Hahn Lab - Systemic Identification of Cancer Targets

William C. Hahn, MD, PhD
SYSTEMATIC IDENTIFICATION OF CANCER TARGETS

Mission

Our overarching goal is to understand how DNA mutations and elements of the cellular micro-environment cooperate to drive cancer initiation and progression, both to decipher the biological basis of cancer and to develop new therapeutic approaches.

We use systematic approaches to:

  • decipher the molecular pathways that underlie cellular transformation
  • discover cancer-specific genetic vulnerabilities
  • identify genetic alterations that promote therapeutic resistance
